Screen Printing is the most common method for decorating t-shirts and it allows for a permanent design. Screen printing begins with good quality art and ends with a perfect shirt that you will be pleased to wear for a long time.
Screen Printing is the process of pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen to create a printed design. It’s a popular technique used in a whole range of different industries, so even if you've never heard of the term before today, it’s likely that you’ve worn or used a screen-printed product at some point without even realising. The process is sometimes called serigraphy or silk screen printing, but all of these names refer to the same basic method.
Screen printing is an effective technique for creating bold canvases, posters and artwork, but the method can also be used to print fabrics and textiles, so it's great for creating all sorts of custom clothing and products.
The art needed for most print methods, including screen printing needs to be in a high-resolution format, preferably 300 dpi (or higher), or in an editable EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) format. We can convert your provided artwork, if needed, for a small fee.
We suggest this print method for large orders - bulk. Our screen printing starts with orders of 48 units or more using the same design and dimensions.
After receiving artwork, we create a virtual proof/mockup to be reviewed using the desired color(s) you’ve chosen for your decorated products. Once the mock-ups are approved, an individual screen is made for each color in the design, and set up on the screen printing press in a fashion so the colors line up together. Then the full screen-printing process takes place and we receive the finished screen printed transfers, which are then placed onto the chosen garments and heat cured for the final product.
